The Libertines Pete Doherty and Carl Barat are to work on new material together, Doherty has said.
Doherty was thrown out of rehab in Thailand earlier this month after it was claimed that he was being a "disruptive influence" on other patients, has said that he is now safely back in Paris and has invited Barat to come over and work on some songs.
In an interview, he said: "I spoke to Carl yesterday and he’s going to come out to Paris. Then maybe we'll go back out to Thailand together and do some writing."
The singer added that he had been "enjoying" the delights of Paris since he returned from Thailand, adding: "It's been three-and-a-half weeks since I've laid beside a woman in the biblical sense. It's been good for my head."
Last month, Doherty was forced to pay out £10,000 to another artist after a claim that the lyrics to his track 'Baddie's Boogie' were stolen.
