Calls for MCD to respond to Garda report

A local Councillor is calling on music promoters MCD to respond to a report from Gardai on the Swedish House Mafia concert in the Phoenix Park in Dublin last month.

Yesterday, Gardai said the Park is not a suitable event for what they describe as "outdoor electric music concerts".

And the report found that officers warned MCD about their concerns - before the event.

Councillor Mary Fitzpatrick says MCD has been invited to attend a meeting of the Dublin Central Joint Policing Committee - but has yet to respond
