Thousands attend Quinn rally

Thousands of people turned out at a rally in Ballyconnell last night to show their support for the Quinn family.

An emotional Sean Quinn senior thanked the crowd in the County Cavan town, and said the Quinns would stand by each other.

A number of high-profile figures attended the event, including Father Brian Darcy, Mickey Harte and Colm O'Rourke.

Speakers highlighted the contribution the Quinn business has made to the area, and the jobs it has supported.
