Courtney Love is being sued by her former legal representatives Keith A. Fink & Associates, who are seeking $466,029.41 (£299,505) in outstanding fees.

According to TMZ, the company claim that the Hole frontwoman sent "gifts, thank-you notes, flowers, tickets to concerts" to say thank you for their work, but added that most of her cheques bounced. They are now seeking $466,029.41 in back payments and late fees as well as punitive damages.

However, Love's representative Steve Honig went on to tell TMZ: "Courtney has not been served with anything, so as far as we're concerned there is no lawsuit. Additionally, Keith has not been her attorney for many years, so it's a bit odd that this would surface now."

In other legal matters regarding Courtney Love, it was recently revealed that a law firm is trying to convince Frances Bean Cobain to testify against her mother. According to the Hollywood Reporter, lawyers suing Courtney Love for defamation have issued a writ requesting her 19-year-old daughter make a statement clarifying her meaning when she said: "Twitter should ban my mother."

Frances called for Love to be banned from the social networking site after she used it to launch a tirade against her late husband Kurt Cobain's former Nirvana bandmate Dave Grohl, accusing him of making sexual advances on her daughter.
